Native New Yorker, Radames Rivera, was born in the Bronx and moved around NY before moving to Newark, New Jersey with his mother and 11 siblings. It was during these years that Radames became intrigued by the arts, first expressing his talent through depiction. Struggling with communication, art became a form of expression. At 17 he began to turn his drawings into tattoos & finding his true passion as an artist. After 10 years as an East Coast based artist, Radames set out to travel throughout the world, finding new inspirations along the way. He continued to tattoo but took a hiatus and explored sign painting, oil painting, worked as a muralist, and other forms of fine arts.

After years of of travel Radames has returned to his NYC roots with a fresh perspective and renewed passion. His high concept, large scale surrealism tattoos are executed with focus and patience, resulting in beautiful detail and clarity. His appreciation for art in all forms translating in the originality of his work.
